The Star Wars universe has not only given its fans exciting stories since the 70s but also unforgettable characters. Some are simply epic, like Darth Vader, others are a decisive wink to the heart (and the marketing department). After being obsessed with Ewoks, Porgs, and then Baby Yoda, now the public seems to have fallen in love with a new super cute alien - and who can blame them!

All thanks to the Skeleton Crew series, a surprising breath of adventure in Amblin style for the saga created by George Lucas. The show with Jude Law is in fact a mix between Star Wars and The Goonies, thanks to the fact that at the center of the story is a group of children who find themselves unwillingly entangled in an intergalactic adventure involving pirates and legendary treasures. Just like in the film directed by Richard Donner and written by Steven Spielberg, among the very young some are braver and those who are less: in the case of Skeleton Crew the “cute” share goes entirely to Neel.

He is the alien puppy that we do not deserve, but the one we need: Wim's best friend, he is a sort of small elephant with very large eyes and a slightly awkward gait. A great scholar, he ultimately acts as the moral compass of the group, because in addition to being incredibly gullible, he refuses to hurt others and instead always shows compassion, kindness, and love towards others. A rare bird, not only in his group of young braggarts but also in a galaxy dominated by alien pirates and other threats.

Neel has everything to win the hearts of fans and above all to end up on supermarket shelves, giving Baby Yoda a run for his money as the new favorite cute character of Star Wars. What do you think?
