Netflix has released the teaser trailer for the second season of The Night Agent, the TV series created by Shawn Ryan and based on the novel of the same name by Matthew Quirk. The first season of The Night Agent was the most viewed series in 2023 (by views) and is currently in 7th place among the most popular English series of all time on Netflix, with 98.2 million views in its first 91 days. Furthermore, it was at #1 in the Global Top 10 for four consecutive weeks, reaching first place in the Top 10 of 87 countries. The new episodes, produced by Sony Pictures Television, will debut on the platform on January 23.
The Night Agent Season 2 Teaser Trailer
The Night Agent is a sophisticated action thriller that centers on a low-level FBI agent, namely Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso). His efforts to save the President in Season 1 earned him the opportunity to become a Night Agent in Season 2. But working in the secretive Night Action organization will take Peter into a world where danger is everywhere and trust is in short supply.
The Night Agent season 2 also stars Luciane Buchanan, Marwan Kenzari, Elise Kibler, Dikran Tulaine, Michale Malarkey (The Vampire Diaries) as a military leader named Markus, Keon Alexander as Javad, the head of security during an Iranian mission, Navid Negahban as Abbas, the Iranian ambassador to the United Nations, Bob Heaps as the wealthy Tomas, Brittany Snow as Alice, Peter’s partner and mentor in his first assignment as a night agent, Teddy Sears as Warren, an intelligence officer, Arienne Mandi as Noor, an aide in the Iranian mission to the United Nations in New York, Louis Herthum as Jacob Monroe, a prominent international businessman, Berto Colon as Solomon, a former Marine, and finally, Amanda Warren as Catherine Weaver, a veteran of the top-secret Night Agent program who will train Peter.
