The fifth and final season of The Boys is still a little while away, available for streaming on Prime Video. In addition to putting an end to the narrative arcs present in the series, the new season promises to be particularly violent and brutal, as confirmed by creator and showrunner Eric Kripke, who announced that none of the characters can be sure of making it to the finale alive. Now, after many months of silence, Kripke has finally revealed a first "spoiler" of what awaits us, anticipating the title of the first episode on his social profiles: Fifteen Inches of Sheer Dynamite.

Obviously, fans immediately caught the direct reference to issue 14 of the original comic, and to the return of one of the "Supers" with the most disgusting powers, Love Sausage (Derek Johns). This character is a recurring antagonist in the first four seasons of The Boys and appears right in the final scene of the fourth, where he uses his power to attack Breast Milk. This, combined with the recently revealed episode title, could indicate a bigger role for him in the episodes to come. And yes, for those who don't remember, his is one of the most grotesque and disgusting powers:

he can in fact control his exceptionally strong penis at will, using it as a tentacle to grab or strangle his victims. As already mentioned, the episode title refers to The Boys 14, made by Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, and Peter Snejbjerg. In this story, Love Sausage teams up with Hughie to fight Russian organized crime, but his "weapon" proves to be an obstacle when it becomes huge and untamable inside a strip club. It should be noted, however, that the character in the comics is quite different from the one in the Prime Video series:

in the comics, in fact, Love Sausage is a drunken communist who allies himself with the protagonists, while in the series he is an antagonist. In any case, let's get ready for a bizarre and provocative start to the season, in the best tradition of the show. As Kripke stated, we're going to see some great things: "Since it's the final season, we won't be forced to keep the cast for a future season. So huge and shocking things could happen from start to finish." What do you expect from the new season of The Boys?
