The 2024 cinematic year will go down in history not only for the records of Inside Out 2 and Deadpool & Wolverine but also for a trend that has conquered theaters in the United States and beyond. Popcorn buckets and other themed gadgets have been very popular since the very equivocal one of Dune - Part 2 went viral and from that moment the craze broke out. But now we have the probable winner of the category: Nosferatu! Regal Cinemas, one of the main chains in the United States, has in fact shown the public its latest idea to attract fans and collectors of movie gadgets.

On the occasion of the release of Robert Eggers' horror, the circuit has thought of a popcorn bucket in the shape of... a sarcophagus! A gimmick perfectly themed for the return of the Prince of Darkness and that will probably become the object of desire of many people. The bucket – of which you can see a photo HERE – costs about 31 dollars complete with popcorn, but it is also possible to buy just the sarcophagus to take it home and add it to your personal collection of cinematic “memorabilia”.

As mentioned, this is not the only gadget that has caused a stir this year: after the bizarre basket for Dune – Part 2, the most explicit and provocative bucket for Deadpool & Wolverine has arrived and recently the trend has been relaunched by the terrifying gimmick for Alien: Romulus and the Colosseum designed for the launch of Gladiator II. Among the virtuous examples of the past, we must mention the R2-D2 designed for the launch of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, still today one of the best “theater” gadgets ever put into circulation. Nosferatu, let's remember, was written and directed by Robert Eggers, already known for his work on other acclaimed feature films such as The Witch (2015), The Lighthouse (2019) and The Northman (2022).

The cast of the film includes Bill Skarsgård in the role of the fearsome Count Orlok, Lily-Rose Depp in the role of Ellen Hutter, Nicholas Hoult in the role of Thomas Hutter, Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the role of Friedrich Harding, Emma Corrin in the role of Anna Harding and Willem Dafoe in that of Professor Albin Eberhart Von Franz. The cast is completed by Simon McBurney in the role of Herr Knock and Ralph Ineson in that of Dr. Wilhelm Sievers. Nosferatu will be released in cinemas starting from January 1, 2025. And fans are now hoping that the popcorn bucket will also arrive in Italy.
