The plot and the official trailer of the TV series Say Nothing

Say Nothing is a story of murder and memory during the period of the Northern Irish conflict (The Troubles). Set over four decades, the series opens with the shocking disappearance of Jean McConville, a single mother of ten children who was kidnapped from her home in 1972 and never seen alive again. Focusing on the stories of several members of the Irish Republican Army (IRA), Don’t Say Anything explores the lengths to which some people will go for their beliefs, how a deeply divided society can suddenly explode into armed conflict, the long shadow of radical violence for all those affected, and the emotional and psychological costs of silence.

Don’t Say Anything stars Lola Petticrew and Hazel Doupe as Dolours and Marian Price, two young women who have become powerful symbols of radical politics, Anthony Boyle as Brendan Hughes, a charismatic but conflicted military strategist, and Josh Finan as Gerry Adams, a political leader who would later broker peace and who has always denied his involvement with the IRA. Maxine Peake plays an older Dolours Price. The series is executive produced by Color Force’s Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson, creator Joshua Zetumer, Patrick Radden Keefe, Edward McDonnell, Monica Levinson, and Northern Ireland native Michael Lennox. Say Nothing is produced by FX Productions.
