Taylor Sheridan's new series will be called The Madison
Yellowstone: Spin-off may have Kurt Russell, Michelle Pfeiffer and Suits star |
According to TV Line, the new Yellowstone spin-off, which will be called The Madison, is close to closing deals with Kurt Russell, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Suits' Patrick J. Adams to star in Taylor Sheridan's new production. According to the publication, there are rumors that the new series will follow the wealthy matriarch Stacy Clyburn and her family as they leave New York for Montana after the tragic death of her husband and brother-in-law in a plane crash. The cast of the series is being chosen, and also includes Beau Garrett, from The Good Doctor.
The sequel should not feature Kevin Costner. However, no deal has been made official so far. For now, new details of the spin-off remain under wraps. All that is known is that Matthew McConaughey is the favorite to be the new protagonist. Shown in the US by CBS and in Brazil by Paramount+, Yellowstone is Paramount's greatest television hit and already has two spin-offs: the miniseries 1883, and the series 1923, which stars Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren. The latter was recently renewed for a second season. Two more spin-offs have been confirmed: 1944 and 2024.
Starring Kevin Costner, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Cole Hauser, and Wes Bentley, the plot revolves around the Dutton family, owners of a large land empire who refuse to give up any of the land they inherited. On one side, large real estate companies want the property to expand urban space, on the other, indigenous communities protest against the illegal seizure of lands belonging to Native Americans. The second part of the final season of Yellowstone is expected to arrive in December 2024. In Brazil, the series is released by Paramount+, and some seasons are also available on Netflix.
