The Umbrella Academy season 4 is coming soon and it promises to be an exciting experience for fans. The Netflix series sees the Hargreeves brothers facing a new apocalypse, but this time it's about the "Final Timeline". At the end of season 3, the brothers, along with Lila and Sparrow Ben, are left in a new timeline created by their father Reginald, where they have lost their powers and are living relatively normal lives.

The Umbrella Academy: what do we know about the final season?

In season 4, the Hargreeves brothers reunite for a new mission, with their powers restored. The main cast, including Elliot Page (Viktor), Tom Hopper (Luther), Emmy Raver-Lampman (Allison), and Robert Sheehan (Klaus), return for this latest adventure, joined by new faces like Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally, and David Cross. At the Los Angeles premiere, actors Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, David Castañeda, and Ritu Arya shared their thoughts on saying goodbye to their characters and The Umbrella Academy universe.

Aidan Gallagher described season four as “bittersweet,” and talked about how his character, Five, takes on a more human, relatable story, with the characters living semi-normal lives without their powers. Gallagher also expressed his excitement for the dynamics that develop between the characters and hinted at the possibility of future collaborations on other franchises, like Batman. David Castañeda discussed the final timeline and Diego’s role in dealing with life without superpowers, praising the writers’ work in maintaining fan-favorite dynamics, such as that between Diego and Lila.

Justin H. Min reflected on the complexity of his character, Ben, who finds himself without powers and without his family in season four. Min appreciated the contrast between Sparrow Ben and Umbrella Ben, highlighting how both characters are searching for a sense of belonging. Finally, Gabriel Bá, co-creator of the original comic, spoke about the surreal experience of seeing his work adapted on a large scale. He expressed his pride in the character of Pogo and reflected on the differences between the characters in the comic and those in the series. Gabriel Bá also suggested that characters like Hazel and Cha-Cha could be great protagonists for potential spin-offs.
